What are the dates and opening hours?

Event registration

Do you have an overview of what is happening at the event?

SAPHEX will be taking place over two days, and have a commercial exhibition alongside two conference streams running concurrently.

The first day will include the opening of the exhibition by an esteemed dignitary as well as the inauguration of the main pharmaceutical conference. The second conference stream that is aimed at GPs and other healthcare professionals will also be launched by a senior health representative. The evening will see invited guests attend a gala dinner, beginning with canapés and drinks for attendees to network with their peers.

On the second day of the event, attendees will be able to walk the exhibition floor and registered delegates have the opportunity to view the second half of the pharmaceutical conference. The event closing ceremony will be chaired by an association representative and attendees will be able to register their interest for the next planned FPS event in Africa – NAPHEX.

Does my registration for SAPHEX allow me to enter the conference?

There is varying levels of entry to event areas that your registration guarantees you:


This ticket allows you to attend the full conference and exhibition and also allows you access to free food and drinks on both days, plus entry to all ancillary networking events. If purchased before 1st April 2017 the ticket is available at a discounted price of $450. Tickets purchased after this date will be charged at the full rate of $900.


This level of registration guarantees you entry to the SAPHEX commercial exhibition only.

*N.B. Registrations received before the 1st September, 2017 will be free of charge.  Registrations after this period will be charged at $20 per visitor.

Venue information

Are there any free seminars to attend?

Whilst the majority of the conference and seminars will only be available to full-paid delegates, there are plans for a small number of technical seminars to take place in the exhibition hall.

Will there be wireless internet access at the show?

Yes, free access to wifi is available to all attendees and exhibitors

Is there a cloakroom or “left luggage” facility at the show?

Yes, this can be arranged on arrival to the venue

Are there catering facilities at the show?

Yes, there will be food available to all attendees to the event within the venue
